Barcelona will surely want to forget about Wednesday night’s match quickly. They initially took a one-goal lead against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg at home.

However, they completely collapsed in the second half at Camp Nou, allowing Karim Benzema to score a hat-trick. Vinicius Junior added another goal in stoppage time, and Barcelona couldn’t mount a comeback.

During the game, Barca’s Gavi was preoccupied with getting past his opponent rather than influencing the score.

Ronald Araujo was also unable to stop Vinicius due to the Brazilian forward’s skill, resulting in Araujo pushing him in frustration.

Barcelona is said to have learned from their previous cup comeback, where they made the mistake of aggravating the situation further.

Vinicius posted on Instagram, using the Spanish word “remontada” (comeback), suggesting that Real Madrid had achieved a comeback against Barcelona. United’s injured youngster, Garnacho, responded with the word “normal” and some smiley faces.

Although Garnacho doesn’t have any apparent connection to Barcelona, he, like many others, admires Lionel Messi.

Garnacho has recently showcased his favorite childhood cartoon tattoo. However, despite his fondness for Messi, he has managed to engage in an ongoing feud with the Spanish league leaders since facing off against Barcelona in the Europa League playoffs in February.

After United emerged victorious, Garnacho mocked Pedri and made fun of the young Spaniard’s glasses, which didn’t sit well with Barcelona.

Months later, Araujo commented on the incident, stating that Messi should have shown more humility and composure.

Barcelona players are unlikely to appreciate Garnacho’s latest actions, and they may eagerly anticipate facing United’s youth team again in the future.
